South Africa Safari, Cape Town & Garden Route

1 Singapore to South Africa Arrival at O.R. Tambo International (Johannesberg) & take a domestic flight to Hoedspruit Via Terminal B, the South African Airways fight from O.R. Tambo took around 1 hour.
Safari Adventure Begins! Drive to Simbambili Game Reserve, within Sabi Sands Game Reserve (fringe of Kruger National Park) The bumpy drive took 2 hours. Enjoy the intimate game lodge!
2,3 Safari Adventure Simbambili Game Lodge (luxury suite) Enjoy your stay which includes all meals, coffees and teas, 2 safaris drives daily (3.5hr each dawn and dusk drive), bushveld safari walks, sundowner drink, tourism levies, and conservation fees.
4 Full-day guided tour of Panaroma Route Mpumalanga, South Africa Take in unforgettable sights of the Blyde River Canyon, Bourkes Potholes, Lisbon/Berlin Falls and God’s Window.

5 Travel to Cape Town Via Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport This flight takes 2 hours and is serviced by South African Airways.

6 Full-day guided Cape Peninsula Tour Cape Town, South Africa Enjoy views that will take your breath away including Hut Bay Harbour, Cape Point, Boulder’s Beach Penguin Colony, and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Stop for lunch @ Ocean’s Point restaurant.
Visited the Seal Island via a Boat Trip from Hout Bay Harbour.
7 Full-day Cape Winelands Tour Cape Town, South Africa This tour meanders through a wonderland of palatable delights. Indulge in cheese and wine tastings in Fairview, to Rickety Bridge, and chocolate and wine at the Waterford Estate.
Along the 3 different vineyards, travel through quaint colonial towns of Paarl, Stullenbosch, and Franchoek. These are all artistic towns, full of hip cafes, and have a very European feel.
8 Garden Route Tour (Day 8 to 11) Drive along highway route 62 towards Barrydale (about a 5-hour drive) The whole drive luxuriates through small and prosperous towns which are very picturesque.
Ostrich Farm Visit Oudtshoorn Enjoy the country life of a South African ostrich farm!
If you have time, drop by the Cango Wildlife Ranch to view the cheetahs.

9 Cango Caves Tour Near Oudtshoorn Be amazed at the precambrian, limestone caves. It is beautifully preserved.
Knysna Heads Cruise Knysna Take in the Mediterranean climate and geographic beauty.
Arrive in Plattenberg Bay In Plattenberg Bay, you can also set out on a whale and dolphin-sighting boat ride. Just google one of the many vendors.
Overnight stay Hog Hollow Country Lodge, Plattenberg Bay If you ride, do enquire for Hog Hollow riding trails through the meadows.
10 Elephant Sanctuary Outing Plattenberg Bay This excursion involves breathtaking interactions with these majestic animals.
Birds of Eden, Monkey Kingdom, and Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre (Cheetah walk) Plattenberg Bay The Birds of Eden is the largest free-flight bird aviary in the world. All of these sight-seeing gems are clustered closely, so choose your own adventure(s)! The Cheetah farm allows you to walk the cheetah on a leash through the forest!
11 Visit to Tsitsikamma National Park Tsitsikamma National Park Walk along the Storms River Mouth Suspension Bridge and finish the tour in Port Elizabeth. Do drop by for lunch at the Tsitsikamma Restaurant
Drive to Port Elizabeth Port Elizabeth Explore the quiet industrial town.

12 Departure from South Africa Transfer from The Windermere to Port Elizabeth Airport. Transit to OR Tambo International Airport.
Depart from OR Tambo International Airport for Home Via Terminal A
